About PLACE School for Sustainable Living

PLACE School is a collaborative, community-based project that offers classes on a broad-range of social and environmental topics. During this critical period of transition to a post-petroleum world, our mission is to support the transition from petroleum-based lifestyles to build a sustainable community that relies on locally-sourced resources and has the skills we need to continue to thrive.

Our courses include handcrafting skills (brewing, clothing and textiles, fermentation), permaculture, appropriate technology, homesteading, theater and arts, urban gardening, homemade health care, and herbalism.
